It is time to have more than one definition for the term
mother-tongue. It is time to have more than one meaning for the term mother
tongue. How many mother-tongues does a bi-racial person have? How many
mother-tongues does a tri-racial person have? Is English the mother tongue of
Jamaicans? I am sure Swahili and Zulu are not as popular as English in Jamaica.
I am sure English is widely used in Jamaica. I am sure Jamaicans are
comfortable with English. Jamaicans and New Yorkers may speak English with a
different accent. In a multi lingual nation like Malaysia, some Malaysians do
speak English at home. Thus, English is the mother tongue of some Malaysians. Many Malaysians do code switching when
communicating. Many Malaysians are bi-lingual. Those Malaysians who are
comfortable with English should be allowed to claim English as their mother
tongue. Those Malaysians who value English should be allowed to claim English
as their mother tongue. People should be allowed to claim two mother tongues if
that’s what they want to claim. In short, we need several definitions to the
term “mother tongue”.
Coming to the schools in Malaysia, Lembah Pantai MP Nurul
Izzah Anwar is in favor of teaching mathematics and science in the mother
tongue, not English. But English is a mother tongue to those Malaysians who
claim it to be a mother tongue. There are different kinds of Malaysians and
some may consider English to be their mother tongue. Some may have two mother
tongues. Every family is different. This is the diversity; and diversity is the
strength of Malaysia. Some of us are good in English, others good in Malay, and
still others good in Tamil or Mandarin. Some mother tongues are good in the
private sector, while others are good in the government sector. Some mother
tongues are good in basketball while other mother tongues are good in long
distance jogging. I hope Lembah Pantai MP Nurul Izzah Anwar will accept the
fact that some Malaysians who value English as a family first language will be
allowed to accept English as their mother tongue. I think that accepting mathematics and
science to be taught in the various mother tongues is a good idea provided English
is recognized as a mother tongue too for those who consider it as a mother
tongue. Those who want to have two mother tongues should be allowed to do so.
We need to find several definitions for the term mother tongue. It is indeed a
good idea to support the teaching of mathematics and science in the mother
tongue because this idea will probably get votes from all the different mother
tongues including English. We will end up with multi-stream education
(including English stream). Diversity is indeed the strength of Malaysia. I
hope Malaysians will vote for politicians who accept English as a mother tongue
in Malaysia. Multi-stream education will give parents and students more
choices.
Diversity is indeed the strength of Malaysia. A Chinese who
eats nasi lemak is probably from Malaysia. An Indian who uses chopsticks when
eating is probably from Malaysia too. A Malay who eats stir fry noodles is
probably from Malaysia too. And this is why Malaysia is truly Asia. Malaysians
are a lot luckier than they realize. The co-existence of Malay, Chinese, and
Indian cultures have helped to enrich Malaysia.
Teaching mathematics and science
in the mother tongue is indeed a good idea because it is in line with
Malaysia’s diversity. And Malaysia’s diversity is Malaysia’s strength. English
is a mother tongue among some Malaysians. Therefore, mathematics and science
should be taught in Chinese to those who claim Chinese as a mother tongue.
Mathematics and science should be taught in Tamil to those who claim Tamil as a
mother tongue. Mathematics and science should be taught in Malay to those who
claim Malay to be their mother tongue. Mathematics and science should be taught
in English to those who claim English as their mother tongue. Any politician who accepts this idea will
probably get votes to build a diversity vote bank. You build a vote bank by
getting support from the different communities. If you can play the diversity
card well, you can build the diversity vote bank; and the diversity vote bank
will make the difference in the 14th General Elections (GE14) in
Malaysia. I’m almost about to predict that GE14 will be won by the diversity
vote bank. So build your vote bank, Mr.Politician.

Mr. or Ms. Politician, please assemble your vote bank. For
your information, you -the politician-
are nothing without your vote bank. The voters in a nation are divided
into numerous vote banks. Some vote banks are religion based, other vote banks
are race based, others are language based, and still others are income based
and so on. So please do assemble your vote bank. You have to be pro-Chinese
schools to get support from the Chinese vote bank. You have to be pro-Tamil
schools to get support from the Tamil vote bank. You have to be pro-Malay
schools to get support from the Malay vote bank. You have to be pro-English
schools to get support from the English speaking vote bank.
So Mr. or Ms. Politician, please collect your vote bank.
Please pull together your vote bank. Please amass your vote bank. Diversity is
the strength of Malaysia. If you can bring together diverse groups, you may win
the 14th General Elections (GE14). If you know how to play the
diversity card, you may win GE14.

We have to prepare Malaysia for the
changing world. We have to prepare Malaysia for the new world order. We have to
prepare Malaysia for the emerging world order. Diversity is the strength of
Malaysia. In military matters, we need to find a new national defense position
for Malaysia. Malaysia has to find her national defense position in the world.
I feel currently Malaysia’s national defense position is inaccurate; and so
Malaysia needs to make some adjustments in order to position herself in the
right spot.
Why is Malaysia’s current position
inaccurate? Let’s say there is a war between Malaysia and the Philippines. The
Republic of the Philippines is a predominantly non-Muslim nation. Malaysia’s
population will split into two groups. The Muslim Malaysians will support the
Malay Regiment but the non-Muslim Malaysians will support the Philippine
government. This split will give the Malay Regiment a big headache.
Let’s say there is a war between
Malaysia and Singapore. Malaysia’s population will split into two groups. The
Chinese on both sides of the Straits of Johor will unite, the Indians on both
sides of the Straits of Johor will unite, and the Malays on both sides of the
Straits of Johor will unite. The Muslim Malaysians will support the Malay
Regiment but the non-Muslim Malaysians will support the Singapore government.
This split will give the Malay Regiment a big headache.
Let’s say there is a war between
Malaysia and Thailand. Malaysia’s population will split into two groups.
Thailand is predominantly Buddhist and non-Muslim. The non-Muslims on both
sides of the Thai-Malaysia border will unite, and the Malays on both sides of
the Thai-Malaysia border will unite. The Muslim Malaysians will support the
Malay Regiment but the non-Muslim Malaysians will support the Thailand
government. This split will give the Malay Regiment a big headache.
What did you realize? You realized
that the Malay Regiment is redundant because each time they use the Malay
Regiment, it will split Malaysia into two groups: the non-Muslims vs the
Muslims. This is the reality.
Next, to this redundant Malay
Regiment problem we have to add the rise of China and India as regional powers.
The rise of China and India as regional powers will shift the balance of power
in South East Asia. Firstly, Malaysians are powerless to stop the rise of China
and India as regional powers. It means that the rise of China and India is
inevitable. It means that the balance of power will shift inevitably.
Therefore, it is important for
Malaysia to take advantage of the shift in the balance of power. I feel so
happy to report that Malaysia is lucky. Malaysia is well positioned. There is a
Chinese and Indian population in Malaysia making Malaysia truly Asia. I cannot
think of another truly Asia nation. Only
Malaysia is truly Asia. Diversity is indeed the strength of Malaysia. It would
not be too difficult for Malaysia to have military ties with a rising China.
Likewise, it would not be too difficult for Malaysia to have military ties with
a rising India too. Malaysia already has military ties with the United Kingdom.
With United Kingdom, China and India on Malaysia’s side, she has three nuclear
powers on her side. I feel safe. Sleep well tonight my Malaysian friends
because you are in safe hands. Wait a minute there is still a flaw. How about
the Malay Regiment problem? We can fix the problem.
May I suggest that in addition to
the Malay Regiment, we also have a Chinese Regiment and an Indian Regiment in
the Malaysian armed forces. Let’s pause and think about it. Many Malays have
complained that insufficient Chinese and Indians in Malaysia have joined the
armed forces. Therefore, the solution is
segregated regiments. Lets try it and see if it works. We will not know the
result until we try it. Let’s try it. May be more Chinese Malaysians will step
forward to join a Chinese Regiment in the Malaysian armed forces. May be more
Indian Malaysians will step forward to join a Indian Regiment in the Malaysian
armed forces. It may be for the better of Malaysia as the balance of power
shifts with the rise of China and India. It may also be a relief for the Malay Regiment
because it will push some of the hard work and responsibility to the Chinese
and Indian Regiment. Right now the Malay Regiment has to do all the hard work
by itself with the non-Malays always taking advantage by pushing all the hard
work to the Malay Regiment. The non-Malays live in the cities and towns and
enjoy the good live which leaves the Malay regiment with the hard work of
national defense. This is unfair. Therefore, my readers, please contact the
Malay regiment and ask the Malay Regiment to contact the members of Parliament.
Please ask the Malay Regiment to recommend the formation of a Chinese and Indian
Regiment. When we have a Malay Regiment, Chinese Regiment, and Indian Regiment,
then we are truly Asia. Diversity is indeed the strength of Malaysia. How many
nations, besides Malaysia, can boast being protected by three nuclear powers?
You tell me. Sleep well tonight my Malaysian friends for you are well protected
(militarily speaking) by three nuclear powers.
As you can see, diversity is indeed
the strength of Malaysia, the truly Asia nation. So if you are a politician,
try collecting a diverse vote bank. I have this feeling that a diverse vote
bank can win elections. Give the Chinese Malaysians a Chinese Regiment and may
be they will vote for you. Give the Indian Malaysians an Indian Regiment and
may be they will vote for you. The onus is on the politician to build a diverse
vote bank. A politician without a vote bank is a nobody.

Walk for Jesus.
In August 2013, some Christians in
Sabah(Malaysia) are engaging in a walk for Jesus. Sure. Why not? I hope more
Christians would engage in walk for Jesus all over Malaysia. Walking is a good
exercise. It also shows Christian unity. It also shows the capacity of
Christians to organize themselves. Are Christian Malaysians a vote bank. They
can be a vote bank if they want to; and they have the right to be a vote bank
to protect their interests; and it would be downright stupid of them if they do
not assemble a vote bank to protect their interests. The reality is that
Malaysia is divided into diverse groups; and diversity is the strength of
Malaysia. So, Malaysia should be managed likewise: a broad coalition. Now we
are discussing the Christian group in the coalition. There are numerous groups
that make up Malaysia, the truly Asia nation. The truly Asia nation is Malaysia’s
asset and strength. We should preserve our truly Asia ways. Malaysia is a three
in one nation, or is it a four in one nation, or is it a five in one nation;
and this is the broad coalition. Now we are discussing one component of the
coalition, the Christian Malaysians.
Anyway, let’s discuss the Vatican Ambassador to Malaysia,
Archbishop Joseph Marino. One of duties of any Vatican Ambassador is to be
concerned about Roman Catholics issues. Malaysia is no exception. Therefore,
the Vatican ambassador to Malaysia should continue to be concerned about Roman
Catholic issues. I would venture to say that any Vatican Ambassador would have
failed in his duties if he did not voice concerns about Catholic issues. It
would be the ambassador’s moral duty to be concerned about Catholic issues. In
fact, it would be a dereliction of duty if the Vatican Ambassador disregards
issues of importance to Catholics. The Catholic community in Malaysia is the
niche of the Vatican Ambassador; and the Vatican Ambassador is a nobody without
his niche. Therefore may I suggest that the Roman Catholic community of
Malaysia get to know the Vatican Ambassador better. May I suggest that all
Catholic institutions invite the Vatican Ambassador for functions. I hope that
the Vatican Ambassador visits every Catholic institution in Malaysia. The
Vatican Ambassador has to get to know the Catholics in Malaysia; and likewise,
the Catholics should also get to know the Vatican Ambassador too. I hope more
NGO’s invite the Vatican Ambassador for functions. The Vatican Ambassador is
part of the Catholic family. All Catholics are part of the Catholic family.
Coming back to walk for Jesus. I hope the Catholic community
in Malaysia has informed the Vatican Ambassador in Kuala Lumpur, Archbishop
Joseph Marino, about the walk for Jesus event. Walk for Jesus is also a show of
solidarity among Christians. I hope more Christians will engage in walk for
Jesus; and do not forget to keep in touch with the Vatican Ambassador in Kuala
Lumpur, Archbishop Joseph Marino.
If you study the history of India, we will always remember
that the Christians gave schools and hospitals. Some of the better schools and
hospitals in India continue to be Christian operated. The Indian people
continue to have a high regard for the late Mother Theresa. When the late
Mother Theresa passed away she was given a state funeral by the government of
India. Many of us got an education from Christian operated schools. We are
grateful to the Christian operated schools and hospitals. Should Christians
walk for Jesus? Absolutely. Why not? Keep walking if you want to; and please do
notify the Vatican Ambassador, and if you can, please do invite the Vatican
Ambassador to join in the walk for Jesus.

Should one nation interfere in another nation’s internal
affairs? It all depends. Sometimes we should and sometimes we should not. We
are all bound by a higher law which is higher than man-made law. This law is
the conscience. This law is divine law: the law of the all pervading omniscient
Being. The Omniscient Being is the Almighty. Man and the omniscient being are
indivisible. A Federal Constitution is
nothing because it is just man-made law; we are bound by a higher law, higher
than the Federal Constitution. Divine law is higher than the Federal
Constitution. The Omniscient Being is higher than the Federal Constitution. Sometimes
it is justifiable to violate injustice.
When mad-made law is unjust, then disobedience is justifiable. . When the Federal Constitution is unjust, then
disobedience is justifiable. Strangely,
Christians in Malaysia are not allowed to use the word “Allah” to refer to the
Almighty. Christians can utter any other word to refer to the Almighty, but not
the word “Allah”. “Allah”, in Malaysia, can only be used by Muslims. The word
“Allah” is the property of Muslims only inside Malaysia. Of course, there are
court cases in Malaysia on this matter.
Anyway, let’s discuss the Vatican
Ambassador to Malaysia, Archbishop Joseph Marino. One of duties of any Vatican
Ambassador is to be concerned about Roman Catholics issues. Malaysia is no
exception. Therefore, the Vatican ambassador to Malaysia should continue to be

likewise, the Catholics should also get to know the Vatican Ambassador too. I
hope more NGO’s invite the Vatican Ambassador for functions. The Vatican
Ambassador is part of the Catholic family. All Catholics are part of the
Catholic family. Even the Hindu Malaysians should show their hospitality to the
Vatican Ambassador. The Christians in India will be remembered for giving
hospitals and schools. Some of the better schools and hospitals in India are
Christian operated. Many Hindu Malaysians have attended Christian operated
schools. The works of the late Mother Theresa in India is well known. When
Mother Theresa finally passed away, she was given a state funeral by the
government of India.
It is indeed an honor to have the
Vatican Ambassador in Malaysia.
After the 13th General
Elections(GE13) in May 2013 in Malaysia, the results show that a two coalition
system has already taken root in West Malaysia. Its irreversible. Next is Sabah and Sarawak. What about Sabah
and Sarawak? All we need now is a viable third force in Sabah and Sarawak. I
say that prove your third force, Sabah and Sarawak. Are the Sabah and Sarawak
people just lackeys of UMNO or do they have a mind of their own? The voters in
West Malaysia have already given the nation a two coalition system which is of
benefit to the voters in Sabah and Sarawak. Now Sabah and Sarawak voters should
take advantage of the two coalition system and help to abolish the Sedition Act
1948. Or, are the Sabah and Sarawak voter’s just lackeys of UMNO? We will wait
and see.

I never have believed in History. I am sure it has been
fabricated. It is something between fact and fiction. It seems Muslims ruled
and invaded parts of India and they destroyed Nalanda university. May be. It
would be difficult to prove or disprove. Some people consider it as the biggest
crime of Islam. May be. It seems in AD 1194 Muslim invaders burned the
university and reduced it to ash. Centuries of manuscripts were reduced ash. India
irreversible lost her greatest wonder.
Modern India became independent in 1947. We need to look to
the future. There are more universities today than ever before in India. There
are more graduates today than ever before. India's economy is improving.
Politically democracy has firmly established itself. There are advantages about
making mistakes. We learn something from mistakes. Something will come out of
mistakes. Black Africans were enslaved by Muslim Arabs; and then sold to
Christian Whites who transported them across the ocean to the Americas,
particularly Brazil. Black Africans have the unique distinction of having been
enslaved by both Muslim Arabs and Christian Whites. Many nations have sob
stories. Whatever the past, we have to keep working. There is no substitute to
work. India is improving day by day. Keep working. Forget the past.
Hopefully, basic training in the army will instill
discipline and turn you into a tough person. A tough citizen is an asset for
the nation. A tough citizen is an asset for the economy. We don't want any sob
stories. Keep working. When you are tired, you sleep. When you wake up, you
work.A tough citizen is an asset for the nation.
A tough citizen is an asset for the nation. A tough citizen
is an asset for the economy. We don't want any sob stories. Keep working. When
you are tired, you sleep. When you wake up, you work.A tough citizen is an
asset for the nation.India lost Nalanda University because she was weak.
India's record is nothing to be proud of. Many smaller nations get more gold
medals in the Olympics than India. Promote basic training in the military. Keep
pumping iron to be tough. When you are tired, you need sleep. When you wake up
keep busy with work.
Reduce your daily activities to sleep and work. Distill your
activities to sleep and work. If you reduce and distill your activities to
sleep and work, you will stink like a racoon or is it a camel's breath. To
stink is a good think. To work long hours means you never wasted your time. The
3 day marriage, common in India, has to end. Don't waste time. Sleep or work.
Life is about work and sleep.Slowly your body will strengthen and you can work
even longer hours. This is how you attract investors.
Nalanda university may have disappeared forever. but there
are more universities today in India than ever before. There are more graduates
today than ever before. India has come a long way since Nalanda. Every nation
has sob stories. Forget the past. It is a changing world. Please keep
physically fit. The best training is a few years in the boot camp in the
military. No time for sob stories. Boot camp, yes. Recommend the military.
